[TUTORIAL] Adding Comments System for Files in File Manager

In this tutorial, we will learn how one can add comments system for uploaded files in filemanger at wapka.mobi. So after this feature, user will be able to comment on files when they like it and you can show all comments made to the file to the users. I think this not done in wapka before. :)
If you wanna add comments system in your site for files, you need to follow these steps and we will be done with this. You can also call this feature Review System or whatever you like.. Lets get started.

1. Login to your free wapka account.
2. Goto Admin Mode
3. First thing that you will add is a new forum visible only in admin mode. Here are the steps to create simple forum. It will create new forum in your main page.
1. Click :: EDIT SITE :: link
2. Under Advanced Function, click - Forum
3. Now write and/or select these respectively
1. Forum name: Review For File 1
2. Forum type: Simple
3. Align: Left
4. Font style: None
5. Place forum in front of: --- at the end
6. WAP2 style class: none
7. Join this item with previous: unchecked
8. Item will be visible for: In ADMIN mode
9. Item protection (login access): Free access
10. Hot Key: none
11. Click Submit
4. Now click  Review For File 1 forum link, it will open new created forum. At the bottom-right you will find Forum ID: XXX (XXX is your forum ID). Note this forum ID
5. Now, in this step, we will affiliate the created forum with the file for which we want reviews. Lets do it, follow these steps.
1. Click :: EDIT SITE :: link
2. Under Support Click File Manager
3. Now navigate to the file for which you want comments/reviews and click [#ID] link against your file
4. In the next page, Click Variables: link. It will open up variables page.
5. Add 1 new variable and it should be displayed above after clicking ADD button
6. Against 1: write the Forum ID which you noted in step 4 and click Edit variables button.
7. Now go back to the main page.
6. Now, in this step, we will affiliate the created forum with the file for which we want reviews. Lets do it, follow these steps. Link to download, File Name, File Size, Last Download Time, Last Download Browser, Comments adding form, Total Count of comments, Added Comments/reviews.

1. Click :: EDIT SITE :: link
2. Under Basic Functions: Click New Page
3. Now in next page, select or write these options. It will open new created page

1. Site name: As your file Name
2. Align: Left
3. Font style: none
4. Display after submit: Edited Site
5. Place item in front of: --- at the end
6. WAP2 style class: none
7. Join this item with previous: unchecked
8. Item will be visible for: All users
9. Item protection (login access): Free Access
10. Hot Key: none
11. Click Submit
1. Now we will add the filelist code and nested :forumllist code to full fill our desires :) Lets do this, step by step as I always do..

1. Click :: EDIT SITE :: link
2. Under Advance Functions: Click - WML/XHTML code link, it will open new form, do following to add filelist and forumlist nested script.
1. WML/XHTML code: write the following script.
   :filelist:x=i, d=DDD, n=no files available::<b>%lname%</b><br/>Size: %size% <br/>Comments:<BR/>:forumlist:f=%var-1%,o=n,l=10::%name% (%time%)<br/>%text%::<hr/>:/forumlist:<br/>Add Your Comment<br/>:forum-%var-1%/smallform/SITE_TO_DISPLAY: :: FILE_ID_HERE :/filelist:
1. Change DDD with the directory ID from where you wanna display file
2. Change FILE_ID_HERE with the file ID of the file you are adding review for
3. Change SITE_TO_DISPLAY with site ID which you wanna display after adding comments, it can be your current site ID. Its up to you.
2. Display this code in: both wap versions
3. Align: left
4. Display after submit: Edited site
5. Place WML code in front of: --- at the end
6. WAP2 style class: none
7. Join this item with previous: unchecked
8. Item will be visible for: All users
9. Click Submit
1. Now you are done you have added the comment file system and/or File Review System to your site.

If you wanted to add comments for any other file, please follow all other steps but in Step 5 Sub Step 6 write the other forum ID (Create new forum for the new forum ID).
Please not that, you will have to follow all steps again for the new file for which you want comments. In other words you will have to do it for every file you have in your file manager if you want comments for all files.
